What was the most challenging moment you experienced as a founder? How did you overcome it?

Well it is more or less on how my freelancers communicate with me. I tend to make sure that they are well updated on the latest trends, if I find something interesting then I share the insights or content with them. Talking about the project: - I lookout for regular updates when a project arrives on my desk. I will add myself, the client, the freelancer on a platform like Slack and have them give out regular updates to ensure that the client & myself are aware of the daily progress being made. - Talking about say work quality, I tend to see if the coder/designer is well versed with the legacy/hard coding their solutions rather than using pre-built plugins & frameworks. Yes I don’t stop them from using them but it is best that they actually know what they are using to resolve any future bugs rather than waiting for a patch update from the framework provider. Same goes with GFx, I tend to find those who use Photoshop & Illustrator primarily than Figma / Canva.

What I have realised using Social Media from the past 2 years us that 'engagement' is the king. Same applies with the SaaS or start-up as well, keep them engaged and entertainment with them. They will not forget!

A client gave 3 referrals. I closed 2 of them. They didn't see my website/testimonial, no negotiations (infact, upsold one client for an extra $500) - That’s the power of word of mouth.
