I am so dumb. I don't have any experience in hiring candidates but then also I have involved myself in the hiring process and I was the part of the hiring panel. Two blunders which I made during the process. 1) It was a technical round and during the interview process I in that I started speaking about Bad business which was not needed. 2) As in early stage startup we hire for one thing but we make to do every thing. Like a generalist. I was explaining him, along with data analysis role you have to do market analysis and market research this and that and so on. Other board member saw the change inthef facial expression. Which give the impression that this startup is not made for them. This make the candidate to not join the company. Basically my mind was prepared for serious talk. Yes we learn from mistakes and yes I will be serious this time when the hiring is done. What is your opinion on this share in the comment section.
