Horrible interview experience I just interviewed at a startup for a full stack developer (Mern), after 3 interviews over a week. They offered me to join remotely for 3 months training, and then they may extend a full time offer on-site in bengaluru, salary: 20k per month. Is this a normal scene ??? How to research and avoid these companies?? Share your thoughts please
Slowly it's becoming the trend, at the end they'll fire inters and recruitment new "bakra"
Been there exp that, see always remember that you are a need to the company. Don't ever just say ok to all things. Whenever you go through a job ask all your questions when they select you for the job. Also never ever afraid to reject companies.when you believe this is not for me or this is below my means. Interviews will be going on. Don't ever think that you will not get any opportunity in front. Only go through the job only when you think this job has some things inclined with you. Never accept if you don't feel like it is for you. The same job you hate doing maybe a dream for others. So never afraid of letting go of this kinda jobs. Who knows something big awaits you. Or maybe not but only do a job that atleast fits you in certain points
Mention the name of the company please!!
Bro I’m telling you biggest startups would do this (biggest by name only) in Bengaluru. Be aware, My experience was bad, there was a 15k stipend for the internship period, and told me full time will be 50,000 after 6 months, after 5 months they fired all interns.
Honestly, that's becoming a somewhat common bait-and-switch tactic, especially with early stage startups looking to get cheap labor. They entice people with the dream opportunity, make them grind for 2-3 months under the guise of "training", and then either lowball the full-time offer or cut them loose. It's gross.
Whoa, that's a huge red flag. Asking you to work remotely for 3 months as "training" and then MAYBE extending a full-time offer? For just 20k a month in Bangalore? They're either extremely naive about comp expectations or flat-out trying to take advantage of candidates. I'd run far away.
