So 7 UP has faced difficulty in positioning itself in the mind of Arab consumers because of one reason:The logo. Generally the logo of 7 up is read from left to right if interpreted in English language.But consumers in Arab countries read text from right to left. Hence the company has made these two changes: โก๏ธThey replaced the up with seven in Arabic โก๏ธWrote up in Arabic but made it look like 7 just like the original logo. So that originality is not lost. Hence when it is read from right to left it can be seamlessly pronounced as 7 up and at the same time the logo also looks like the standard 7 up logo.
