Bro, Ui has a major impact, you can take your personal example, You may not be using app with glitches, bad Ui, boring or irritating colour theme and many bad things possible for a company providing service like Instagram, YouTube, medial or WhatsApp... It's not like sales completely depend on it but it's dependency is around 30-40% And that's obvious, it you don't give good service, no sales or users are there for you.
