YT is a content based app that has info posted in regard to all political parties and candidates and much of that is fake as well. Its only the big names who have the privilege to get fact checks done and social media responds w withdrawing that content immediately (speaking in the light of the latest 2024 elections and Amit Shah fake video case). Secondly, Twitter has always had a left leaning, liberal favouring policy even b4 it was annexed by Musk and more so after the Indian Govt and Tesla cud not strike a deal over E Vehicle production. Any political analyst, government or private institutions, YT channel owners : all of them receive hate for favouring one section of the other. So even while the concept can flourish, its more of a political tool than a democracy saviour
