I am facing some issue like I couldn't code...I cannot make myself sit and study...I don't know what's distracting me...(Ofc insta, but I uninstalled it today)... though...it's like of I sit for studying I get distracted in 10-15 mins...I know I need a lot of self improvements for this ...Could anyone help me out with some ideas to improve my attention span. Moreover, I'm a 3rd year undergrad and within 2 months the companies will be coming for teh on campus placements and I know nothing till now...it's damm sucking.

I've faced it too. The thing that worked for me is making To-do list everyday. By making to do list, I have that urge to tick that check box at the end of the day and that feels like an achievement. While studying, select a topic and fix a time period within which you'll be completing that and then give yourself 10-15 min break to do the stuffs you like (maybe reels, YouTube or anything that hits dopamine) and after that, repeat the process. Try making targets at the start of the day which should be achieved by the end of the day.

Just make some one to sit with u in a Google meet or in vc and study with them Discuss the topics with them Ask them to study this and help u What ever u study explain them even if they are non tech That way u can prep for interview also where what u know doesn't matter how u express does .

Thanks to YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels that your attention span has decreased. I would say don't continuously study Rather study for the 15 min solve a question on the same topic Let it be a simple question... For example if you are studying arrays .... Just study what's an array and stuff , then solve easy level question on array like addition of an element .... It worked for me Just try ..... All the best
