Zomato has rolled out a 15-minute food delivery service in select areas of Delhi NCR.
Zomato’s platform fee hike to ₹10 reflects rising operational costs and the need for sustainable revenue models in a competitive market. While ₹10 may seem small, it could affect frequent users. Zomato must justify this increase by improving delivery
Zomato made ₹12,114 crore in FY24, growing 71% mainly through food delivery, Hyperpure, and Blinkit. Despite expenses of ₹12,670 crore, including procurement and delivery costs, Zomato turned profitable with ₹351 crore profit after tax.
