Meesho‼️ Meesho’s business model is indeed a fascinating one. It operates on a B2B (Business to Business) model, acting as a bridge between manufacturers and resellers1. The platform empowers individuals, especially housewives, to start their own businesses with zero investment, leveraging the power of social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram to sell products within their personal communities23. With a focus on ease of use and accessibility, Meesho has created a marketplace that supports micro to small businesses, enabling them to connect with a vast customer base. Their major expense is of logistics which is obvious i.e nearly around 76cr. In FY 22-23 they achieved an immersive growth of 77% leading to 5,735 Cr Revenue. Along with their loss reduction by 48%. This is the example why startups take huge losses ( especially in acquiring customers ) so that in future they can monetize them well and turn profitable 📈
