So what is network effect? A network effect is when each additional user adds value to the existing user base. So your users themselves are creating some value for the existing users. So ,to understand better understand that google is the only one bible search engine. I do like duck duck go ( you know for privacy reasons) but duck duck go just always gonna be behind of google because of network effect, twitter where else would go for micro blogging, YouTube also have a weak network effect,even medial have a network effect . So you have to try to made network effect business and if you are number one in network effect business you win everything like facebook, Instagram, what's app etc and good thing is every new comers want to join these platforms because of network effect .
