I never used that, i have seen their pit h on shark tank thought of giving a try but left out. Then installed medial after seeing an ad in Instagram that's it. I feel this could be better than hood in my opinion actually.

They themselves create controversial posts and send notifications to the users.

1. Lets not forget the catchy but weird notifications 'X murd_red Z' which is entirely different from the content. 2. Hood has high discrimination content, and the comment section gets much worse. 3. Not to mention there is always someone in the comments whose intention is to disturb the creator and reader with a dark viewpoint. 4. Besides these Hood had no other other than anonymity. I would have liked it if they allowed me to opt out from posts on dating or politics

Hood needs to work on their unit economics. Their retention rate is very low, the biggest reason being the absence of a massive user base due to which conversations remain dry. Moreover the founders aren't very hyper active on socials, promoting it. They have a poor GTM strategy. Social platforms earn through user data and ads and the app being anonymous, where our identity is hidden, how do they earn profits? Moreover what I feel is anonymous apps are early for Indian audience. As in the case with reddit, who still doesn't have a loyal Indian user base. Indian social media's doesn't work this way. People use Snapchat to add filters to their photos and beautify it and then they use the same photo to upload it on Instagram. The point is that Indians use socials for a very particular reason, which I feel Hood lacks. I would like to ask is Hood really solving a great problem? Or is it Hood App being a solution which was crafted into a problem. Let me know your thoughts on this! 🔵

I used it for quite a while but after sometime I was bored . They have some great retention issues , great means too much

Shark tank pe aane baad bhi i didnt see any rise in activity for long. I think they have serious retention issues.

I don’t get their existence ka purpose..kaafi unnecessary.

I uninstalled it in a few days. It was dry and empty.

Hood is literally shit. I deleted it within 10 minutes of downloding it

The founder Gabbar doesn't promote it much anymore. Probably not working well.

Nobody uses it anymore. Traction has gone down significantly.

Dead app. Only teenagers trying to find dating options.
