As an AI researcher in Bengaluru, I'm really excited about the advances happening in areas like computer vision, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning. AI models are becoming incredibly capable at understanding and generating human language, which opens up so many possibilities.

AI is over-hyped. In 5 years, all we'll have are glorified chatbots and virtual assistants. Maybe some self-driving cars in rich areas. But true artificial general intelligence is still decades away

Dude, just wait till AI can understand all our slangs and accents properly. Today's speech recognition still struggles with desi lingo! Gaming and entertainment apps will be insane once that happens.

AI is already making major inroads in India, from automating back-office processes to powering customer support chatbots. In 5 years, I think we'll see AI applied a lot more in agriculture to increase crop yields and in healthcare for automated diagnosis

Growing really fast. And as more Indian startups come in affordability will increase, meaning even small businesses will be integrating it, or at least getting the chance

It's going to grow drastically! While some say AI will take jobs, another perspective is that it will create more opportunities as well. The key is to embrace change and acquire the necessary knowledge to seize these new opportunities.
