Startup story 7/10 If you live in a metro city in India, you would have seen a porter truck on streets . But what most people don't see is they succeeded in a field that no other companies could. So, Porter's business is intra-city logistics. Basically delivering things inside a city. This is a space which earlier operated on scheduled appointment model. Let's say you need your truck, you schedule an appointment and the truck delivers you your things. But the main issue was the other companies were doing only 1 or 2 deliveries per day . So the founder of porter thought that how about building a uber for trucks . With this drivers are getting more deliveries and users are getting cheaper prices. And today, Porter has 5 lakh driver partners and over one crore customers on its platform. *Follow me if you think this is Innovative*
