Indian startups are just businesses. just a hype.

Yes that's also true that down the line, a skilled freelancer either will join a startup/company, be a content creator, or venture into additional fields or start his own team, which eventually become a form of startup.

While I agree most of you and say yes startups may grow huge and also gives lot of learning when failed, why are we not respecting the fact that Independent Professional is also a thing and many people like Hitesh Chaudhary, many others globally. It's not always being famous or being in news, just being happy, earning and growing is also good enough ! It's like Engineering is famous in Education, but it's not the only thing to opt for !

What would you choose? Being a slave for 10 grand a year or being master for lot less? Some like to be masters.

Unfortunately, not often, or at all. But take startups..even the ones failing get more attention than the most successful freelancer on earth.

Risk to impact ratio is high in startups. Individuals won't create such impact, startups do.

The hype around startups is due to their innovative use of technology, such as AI, to solve problems and disrupt industries. Pretty simple. Most wanna prove/justify their existence. Make a name for themselves. So their kids don't ask them what more they could've done differently.

No, because startups have the potential to change the world. Stop focusing on the failed ones, just see what the successful ones end up doing.
