I myself won't work for anyone in same situation. To make them feel satisfied with your penny pay and work for your startup, you'll require some validation, that what you are building shall be world changing idea or put a dent in universe sort of thing. They should feel proud of joining your cause. If you can't make them believe that it's going to be very difficult to hire them. What people don't seem to understand is you cannot get people this smart to work this hard just for money. Try not to hire IIM for now and search among remaining 30 percent.
