What strategies do you follow in order to maintain brand consistency in design across different digital platforms and mediums ?

I'm actually really confused about this. I've tried researching about it, all suggestions are a little vague so to speak, what do suggest could be some things like fonts or platforms , which help you..or any of you guys toachieve that consistency?

Once I have figured out and developed Different aspects of my brand what helps me is to create a style guide which basically outlines the brand’s visual elements such as primary, secondary colour palette, primary and secondary fonts, imagery guidelines, layout principles, do and dont’s of the use of logo, graphic,illustration icon style Etc. Along with this it’s also very important to know who your audience is, this basically helps you develop the tone, voice and messaging of your brand Which will then be followed across different online/offline mediums
