Hey I am on Medial • 1y

My view is that: Therapy is just confirming your own thoughts and belief systems, being more aware about their existence. I believe it’s bs, from my pov as whenever something gets fucked tell about it to someone. Even vague acknowledgment works. For other, few (Most) who are not so much in touch with themselves as they were never ā€œtaughtā€ to think about this; should consider therapy. I think Introspection, little common sense and a few sprinkles of rationality can keep your feet on the ground. Which can possibly prevent polarised emotions, surrounding you in the first place, so that you don’t lose track of whatever you’re doing. Basically functional stoicism.
