Good idea. But in my opinion requires a lot of capital to start in tier 1 City. The cost of equipment, maintenance, rent and more will definitely burn your pocket. If you got the money or you can take a loan and start it. But don't rub pink on people. Look into colour theory and choose 1 or 2 dominant colours for your brand. I'd recommend Green and Violet. Last but the most important crack the location. There should be a lot of women in a 5km radius and they should be able to spend money and also should have time to spare. Besides these there will be a thousand more things to consider but start and be flexible. I believe this is an idea that can succeed. Good Luck

Damn thats a Great idea. You will be easily funded by VC. Expand to tier 2 ,3 cities with an affordable price. Women will definitely join. Don't forget to add something feminine appeal to your brand instead of plain generic pink.My mom(50 years old) always tells me about this and wants to join a women's gym, but none are available in your area. Don't over complicate firstly with gynacs, healthy deserts etc... Start it and slowly add depending upon location

It's a great idea and you will get funds easily from VC. Work hard . Just one suggestion remove the pink from it (not all women like pink) and instead add something feminine to appeal to the female audience

Go for it, without even thinking twice. Start from your local or where you think it will be be successful. But don't paint equipment pink,I don't think girls like pink too much. Ask yourself would you go to that gym where everything reminds you are different from boys, I thhink girl have mindset being equal to men.

You should focus on those area where women concious about their health,body fitness etc area such as Mumbai ,Pune,etc Idea of pink theme I think will not work

It's quait Good idea, but so much difficulty in practical. 1) Not every woman likes pink colour. 2) mostly 60-70% men's going gym, so your market already very small . 3) self defence likes *judo"🥋 *karate* if you add this in gym it's so expensive, If I tell you my city there self defence training girls are 5 to 15 years age they don't want to join gym. 4)Etc. [ *if you really want to do , I can give you some of solutions no cost)]

It's a great Idea but better keep I unisex. I can explain you with examples why only single gender wouldn't work much. Let's connect if you wanna start this startup this year itself

I think,The idea "Pink Gym" is not going to work at all where every equipment will be of pink colour. Almost Everyone thinks that every female likes or opts pink colour but it's not 100% correct. You should think about it brother

Mam if you want to start a gym for only women with profits then do it but put a huge in investment on the gym equipment and divide the equipment to both women and men in the gym and divide the gym the space for both. it will like different gyms but only one ,by doing this you can earn profits by clearing a problem you thought

Not a good idea brother. Let’s assume 100 members in a gym. Most likely 60-70 will be men. You have eliminated 60 percent target market already. From remaining women, some of them don’t mind creeps, some women go at the time when there are very few men. You will now cater to only 20 percent target audience. Not a good deal to begin with

Hi Riddhi, if you’re really interested JUST START. Don’t take advices from random people initially as it can affect your thought processes. That being said, do your research and start with one gym and see how it works.

Women compared to men contribute to 20% of gym customers I don’t think it’s sustainable at all

I think in Chennai this exact idea was operational about ten years ago in that exact brand name - Pink Gym…Might be interesting to analyze the demand.

I believe it’s not sustainable idea TBH

If you're that worried, why not go with a gym partner?. I mean you can find a gym partner also in the same gym, Idea is good though, but needs huge investments, as equipments will be costly.
