Just heard of this new term called “DINK” - Double Income No Kids. Basically you and your wife both draw a monthly income but have no kids to have a better lifestyle. Imagine you’re a man and you decide to hypothetically chop off your balls Just so that the two of you can have extra beers during the weekends and buy an extra pair of fast fashion on sale. Is this what consumerism has come to?

It's everyone's personal choice anyways and nowadays many of us are not even mentally prepared to become parents because of working stress & other problems so.....just why not to be comfortable in your own space by spending whatever we earn on ourselves

DINK is not a new term. This term was coined way back in the 80s. DINKs are a marketers best friends and if you have any wannabe product you want to launch, DINKs will be your best customers.

Total shitty idea I also heard about this few years ago via YT... This idea just promotes consumption over wellbeing of human society... Think in this way if Albert Einstein parents were Dinks... Being Dink is threatening to human society... & At the same time I also think that in countries like India where parents can't afford childs wellbeing should consider being Dink but only if they're in any specific financial situations..
