It depends on the features you wanna put on it. Basically there are lotta stuffs starting from UI, then the integrations along with the programming. But you can opt for a no coder platform as well. But again for maintenance and security you will need some amount to invest on it. Also if you want to generate revenue from it , it involves sales and marketing. Basically if you ain't from CS background, it's better to go for no code platforms , as learning programming takes quite the time from basics .

If you want to learn app development for a job and have less time, start with React Native. If you can give more time and just learning to upskill yourself, start with Native appdev, Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS . For more info just search youtube.

You can start with no code app builders like Adalo or Flutter flow, the learning curve is smaller and more reliable especially if you plan to go solo. It might be expensive compared to making on your own but if you have a defined revenue model and market valudation, you'll be profitable

Most important to know is, if you are not an industry expert developer, dont even consider that you, yourself will learn developing apps and become really good at it and launch apps in the market.
