Hate Office Parties? Too Bad. You can’t progress fast without intermingling or gossiping about your workplace to a few selected co-workers (Personal Opinion)

Office politics will be in the office no matter where you go. Your best bet is to try and keep to yourself or hang with people who feel as you do. You have to find a way to tune it out and stayed removed from it. I find for myself, to make my personal like more meaningful, I don't hear what is going on inside the office building. Like Volunteering. Always meaningful and makes you feel uplifted. Start going to the gym. Once you take the trash out of your life, you enhance your personal life and it definitely turns out the office crap that goes on. Keep a positive attitude. Most negative people drown themselves in office politics. Start talking about the positive side of your life, the negative politicos will walk away. Trust me!

This is the prime and most common example of office politics, I think, because there are this small “gangs” that get formed, and give themselves authority of sorts??? for freshers, this is really scary. You end up trying to fit in and thats all, no growth!

SAME WITH SPORTS. I don’t wanna play cricket/football with a bunch of uncles. AND the fact that they expect me to come to work the next day 😖😖😖

My org literally told me that I’m not much “interested” in what the company does, and in the people working with me just because I didn’t attend the christmas party 😟
