Office parties- A neccesary evil? I am tired of others being favoured in office because they are regular to office parties/manager parties at other places. It wasn’t ever mentioned while joining that you have to socialise to get preffered over others. Was of the opinion that hard work should pay but seems like that’s not enough. I don’t even drink, always fail to match others’ vibes and energy. Something shady always happens at these parties when people get drunk and I really don’t wanna be a part of it
