Recently I contacted someone at a start up for opportunity as intern. It is an ai tech company. I have a great interest to work in startup because I want to build my own in future. It's my dream. They said they will conduct some tech interview like a nrml conversation and I can join. I said all of these to my parents. They said to not to focus too much on this and focus on studies and college or get a govt job. I just though wtf.. I just don't know what to say. It is a great opp for me to grow myself but they just totally disappointed me and they are disappointed too. I felt like why are they restricting me. I felt like they are crushing my dreams. Literally don't know how to react with thatšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø.
