I would recommend firstly to gain knowledge about index and stocks in broad way so that you can make best decision. Nifty is growing now but that doesn't mean that coming year it will grow so if your horizon is short term then take a very safe option and if long horizon ( 8-10 years) then obviously nifty 50 it's pretty safe compared to other. A ADVICE THE BEST AND MOST PROFITABLE INVESTMENT WILL BE ON YOURSELF. ALSO BEFORE INVESTING IN ANYTHING YOU MUST SO GOOD RESEARCH ABOUT IT.
