I’m gonna ask this again because no one seems to have an answer across platforms: What is the endgame with CRED Coins? Did the company just expect to create an in-app economy that would automatically become irrelevant after a point? Because if there isn’t a plan, is the company not at a stage where it can respectfully end the sham and still continue to serve its users? I just feel it’s becoming negative PR for the company at this point - unless of course it is by design.

It is a sham. The faster we realise it the better. Cred coins kept people glued to make adoption of Cred easier. Now that it’s done, they care very little and one day they will scrap it all together :)

Cred does help me since I own multiple credit cards and keep forgetting to pay bills. Cred streamlines the entire process. The coins are definitely useless. Doesn’t bother me that much though.

This is like asking why do people have currency in Clash of Clans. It's pure gamification from Shah. I also think they haven't quite figured out the end game. Right now this currency is simply a flashy gig to flaunt on social media
