Zomato launches 'large order fleet' for groups catering

Zomato has introduced a new all-electric fleet to serve large orders for groups or events, aiming to enhance the customer experience. While the company did not disclose the number of vehicles, CEO Deepinder Goyal explained that important enhancements like cooling compartments and temperature control would be added. This move aligns with Zomato's strategy of expanding its addressable market and providing additional use cases for food delivery. The company's consolidated operating revenue for the December quarter increased 69% YoY to Rs 3,288 crore, with adjusted revenue for the food-delivery vertical growing 29% YoY to Rs 2,025 crore.
