Vistara and Air India merger: What happens next? All your questions answered | Mint

Following the merger between Vistara and Air India, Vistara customers should be aware of some important details. Existing bookings on Vistara for travel until November 11, 2024, will not be affected. However, starting from September 3, 2024, all bookings for travel after November 11 will need to be made through Air India's platforms. Vistara co-branded credit cards will remain valid, though specific benefits tied to Vistara might change. Vistara's loyalty program will be integrated into Air India's Flying Returns, with existing loyalty points transferring seamlessly. Lounge access for Vistara flights operated by Air India will be managed by Air India, and refunds will be issued for pre-booked lounge access.
