Vistara-Air India merger: What happens to your flight status after September 3? | Mint

Vistara and Air India are set to merge on November 12, with flights operating under the "AI" code. Ticket bookings will move to the Air India website, and passengers will need to book tickets through Air India's website or app for travel after November 11. PNR numbers and e-tickets will remain the same for existing bookings until November 11. Passengers can contact the Vistara Call Centre to reschedule or cancel Vistara flights. The merger, which will see Singapore Airlines acquire a 25.1 percent stake in Air India, is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Redeem all your points all they will loose 50-75% of their value. That's because your vistara points will be transferred to air india at 1:1 ratio but the thing is that Air India takes 50-100% more points for the same ticket.
