Indian cricketer Rinku Singh invests Rs 1.9 Cr in BeastLife at 120 Cr Valuation Nutrition brand BeastLife has raised Rs 1.9 crore at the valuation of 120 crore from Indian cricketer Rinku Singh. Rinku chose to actively support its growth by investing in the company and using its platform to raise awareness about the importance of clean, reliable, and effective supplements within the athlete community, BeastLife said in a press release. The startup had previously raised $479K in an angel round. Co-founded in 2024 by Gaurav Taneja and Raj Vikram Gupta, BeastLife is an Indian fitness brand that operates as an online platform selling sports nutrition and bodybuilding supplements. The company aims to empower individuals to achieve their fitness goals and break boundaries. Its products include protein supplements, BCAA, creatine, and multi-vitamins. The Gurugram-based company also offers a roti protein mix to boost protein intake in everyday meals. The company's products are designed to provide a noticeable difference in absorption and results. Its other products, including the Pro Concentrate Whey Protein with Ultrasorb Tech, are built to support muscle recovery and overall performance, using carefully selected ingredients that meet the needs of modern athletes. BeastLife stands for something bigger than just supplements. Itโ€™s about creating the finest products with top-quality ingredients, backed by science and integrity. โ€œWhat really drew me in was the brandโ€™s vision to make world-class sports nutrition accessible in India. Thatโ€™s something I believe in deeply and am proud to support,โ€ said Rinku Singh. The brand's equity split includes Gaurav Taneja holding a 40% stake, Raj Gupta holding 15%, Varun Alagh, co-founder of Mamaearth, holding 30%, and 15% ESOP. The company faces competition from other fitness brands like MuscleBlaze, Optimum Nutrition, GNC, and The Whole Truth. In just over a year, the brand claims that it has achieved Rs 50 crore GMV with positive EBITDA and is currently tracking an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of โ‚น80 crore GMV while maintaining performance marketing costs at just 15%.

Daman Soni joins AstroTalk after exit from GlobalBees Daman Soni, former President and Chief Business Officer of e-commerce roll-up company GlobalBees, has joined AstroTalk as CBO (e-commerce), sources familiar with the development told Entrackr. At GlobalBees, Soni played a key role in scaling the companyโ€™s business operations and driving marketing efforts for its portfolio brands. Notably, GlobalBees achieved unicorn status during his tenure. Prior to GlobalBees, Soni served as Vice President of the Growth division at boAt. He also had brief stints at WeCash, Milkbasket, and MobiKwik. According to sources, Daman Soni is overseeing AstroTalkโ€™s e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (D2C) business. The Noida-based firm launched the Astrotalk Store late last year, offering gemstones and healing stones that astrologers charge with โ€˜positive mantras and chants.โ€™ The company is now aiming to reach Rs 100 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR) this month. Confirming the development to Entrackr, โ Anmol Jain, Cofounder & CBO, Astrotalk said, "We are thrilled to welcome Damandeep Singh Soni as the head of our e-commerce vertical. After building a Rs 1400+ crore ARR business in astrology consultations, our customers expressed a growing need for a trusted source for all their spiritual product purchases. With Damanโ€™s extensive experience in scaling e-commerce businesses, we are confident and bullish about transforming this vertical into another Rs 1,000 crore ARR business in the coming years." AstroTalk, which is also planning an initial public offering in a year or two, elevated Anmol Jain to co-founder in late 2023 and appointed former Google executive Siddharth Prakash as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in November 2023. AstroTalk saw strong growth in FY24, with revenue soaring 2.3X to Rs 651.12 crore and profit jumping 11.8X to Rs 99.99 crore. The firm aims to double revenue to Rs 1,250 crore in FY25 and targeting an operating profit of Rs 230-250 crore.
