The US-India Business Council (USIBC) has appointed social media company Meta as the co-chair of its artificial intelligence (AI) task force. The council also welcomed Inderpreet Sawhney, Chief Compliance Officer and Group General Counsel at Infosys, to its AI board advisory panel. Additionally, Bala Subramanian, a senior executive at UPS, and Akash Shah, Chief Growth Officer at BNY Mellon, joined the AI advisory committee. The council aims to drive collaboration and innovation in the AI field, and the appointments will help shape its strategic approach to AI across various sectors.
