Great Learning's scale goes past Rs 1,039 Cr in FY25 Edtech and professional upskilling platform Great Learning recorded modest growth in FY25, with its consolidated revenue from operations growing 4.7% to Rs 1,039 crore, up from Rs 992 crore in FY24, according to the company’s documents reviewed by Entrackr. The company’s operating profit (excluding Interest, Depreciation, non-cash expense (ESOP), exceptional items, and tax surged threefold to Rs 40.23 crore during the same period, compared to Rs 13.82 crore in FY24. As per the company, the sustained global demand for professional upskilling in artificial intelligence (AI) was a key growth driver for Great Learning through FY25. It also expanded its academic portfolio with new collaborations, including tie-ups with IIT Bombay and Johns Hopkins University, to introduce advanced AI and digital business programs. As per the document, its total costs grew marginally to Rs 998.9 crore in FY25 from Rs 978.2 crore a year earlier. Marketing and business promotion remained the largest expenditure at Rs 371.2 crore, up from Rs 339 crore, followed by employee benefits at Rs 267.5 crore and professional and consultancy costs of Rs 266.7 crore. Administrative and other costs declined to Rs 93.4 crore, the document mentioned. Commenting on the results, Mohan Lakhamraju, Founder and CEO of Great Learning, said the company achieved profitability for two consecutive years through innovation and operational discipline, rather than cost-cutting measures. Great Learning offers professional learning programs across AI, data science, machine learning, and digital business leadership. The company claims over 13.8 million learners across 170+ countries and 1,750 programs, supported by a network of more than 8,000 industry mentors. With steady topline expansion, improving margins, and continued investment in AI-driven initiatives, Great Learning has managed to sustain growth momentum even as many edtech peers continue to recalibrate their business models and spending patterns.

The company reported a 13% growth in scale, while YoY profits decreased by 17%. Mamaearth’s Q4 FY25 revenue from operations increased 13% YoY to Rs 533 crore from Rs 471 crore in Q4 FY24. For the full fiscal year (FY25), operating revenue increased 8% to Rs 2,067 crore from Rs 1,920 crore in FY24. The company also added Rs 20 crore from non-operating activities, tallying its overall revenue to Rs 554 crore for Q4 FY25. For FY25, total income was Rs 2,146 crore. The cost of procurement accounted for 30% of the overall expenditure, increasing 11% YoY to Rs 156 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 141 crore in Q4 FY24. Spending on employee benefits, marketing, legal, rent, and other overheads led to a 16% YoY rise in total expenditure to Rs 522 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 451 crore in Q4 FY24. Total expenses for FY25 were Rs 2,056 crore. The company reported a profit after tax of Rs 25 crore in Q4 FY25, a 17% decrease from Rs 30 crore in Q4 FY24. Profit for FY25 decreased to Rs 73 crore compared to Rs 110 crore in FY24. Recently, the company elevated Karan Bajwa and Avinash Dhagat to CXO roles, following Anuja Mishra's (CMO) resignation. Mamaearth parent’s shares closed at Rs 275, with a marketing capitalization of Rs 8,944 crore ($1.04 billion).

The Mumbai-based NBFC provides education loans to students pursuing higher studies in India and abroad. Its offerings cover the complete cost of education, including tuition fees, pre-visa expenses, travel, and other related costs. Interest income formed the bulk of its business, contributing 90.5% of total operating revenue, which grew 49.4% to Rs 478 crore in FY25. Fees, commissions, and other operating income collectively stood at Rs 50 crore during the year. Including other income of Rs 16 crore, Auxilo’s total revenue reached Rs 544 crore in FY25. On the expenditure side, interest costs accounted for 71.5% of total expenses, rising in line with disbursements to Rs 282 crore in FY25. Employee benefits were recorded at Rs 56 crore, while overall costs increased to Rs 394 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 275 crore in FY24. The company’s controlled cost structure supported profitability, leading to a 62.3% jump in PAT to Rs 112 crore in FY25, against Rs 69 crore in FY24. Auxilo’s expense-to-revenue ratio also improved to 0.75 in FY25. Earlier this year, Auxilo raised Rs 50 crore from Motilal Oswal. Since its inception, it has secured over $100 million across equity and debt. The company competes with other well-funded education-financing players such as Grayquest, Avanse Financial, Financepeer, Propelld, Leap Finance, and Eduvanz.

Logistics company Delhivery is turning around the table by registering notable profits during the quarter ending June 2025, with a scale crossing Rs 2,100 crore in the same period (Q1 FY25). Delhivery’s operating revenue grew 4.6% to Rs 2,172 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 2,076 crore in Q4 FY24, according to the company’s unaudited consolidated quarterly report filed with the National Stock Exchange. Logistics services including (warehousing, last mile logistics, designing and deploying logistics management systems) were the primary sources of revenue for Delhivery. The Gurugram-based company added another Rs 110 crore from financial sources tallying the overall income to Rs 2,282 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 2,195 crore in Q4 FY24. For the logistics firm Delhivery, the cost of freight and handling formed 71% of its overall expenditure. To the tune of scale, this cost grew 4% to Rs 1,579 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 1,519 crore in Q4 FY24. The firm spending on employee benefits, advertising, finance, legal, and other expenditures took the overall expenditure to Rs 2,223 crore in Q1 FY25 compared to Rs 2257 crore in Q4 FY24. The continued growth in scale and reduction in total cost enabled Delhivery to turn black with Rs 52 crore in profits in Q1 FY24 as compared to Rs 68 crore loss in Q4 FY24. On a unit level, the firm spent Rs 1.02 to earn a rupee in Q1 FY25. Delhivery has also granted 1,66,122 employee stock options under its existing ESOP Plan 2012, tallying its total ESOP pool to 1.73 million, according to a different disclosure filed by Delhivery through NSE. Delhivery’s share price is currently at Rs 414.4 (as of August 2) and its total market capitalization stood at Rs 30,632 crore or $3.6 billion.

TBO’s operating revenue increased to Rs 446 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 369 crore in Q3 FY24, its consolidated financial statements sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) show. Income from the booking of hotels and packages accounted for 80% of TBO’s revenue, which increased to Rs 357 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, income from air ticketing and other allied services brought Rs 79 crore and Rs 10 crore to the firm’s coffers. Hotels and packages, as the top revenue source, made service fees the largest cost center, accounting for 33.75% of total expenditure or Rs 135 crore in Q4 FY25. Employee benefits were Rs 99 crore in the same quarter. Overall, total costs rose to Rs 400 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 325 crore in Q4 FY24. The decent surge in scale and controlled expenditure led TBO to post a 28.3% YOY increase in its profits after tax to Rs 59 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 46 crore in Q4 FY24. However, for the full fiscal year, it posted a 15% YoY increase in PAT to Rs 230 crore in the previous fiscal (FY25). At the end of today’s (Thursday, May 22) trading session, TBO Tek saw around a 3% decrease in its stock, which stood at Rs 1,197 with a total market capitalization of Rs 13,005 crore or ($1.53 billion).

E-sports accounted for 41.5% (Rs 216 crore) of the company’s total operating revenue, while the gaming segment held a 30% share (Rs 156 crore), followed by ad tech, which contributed 28% (Rs 148 crore). Nazara also earned Rs 18 crore from interest and gains on financial assets during the quarter, bringing its overall revenue to Rs 539 crore. However, the company posted a 40.8% YoY increase in its total income to Rs 1,715 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 1,218 crore in FY24. On the line of scale, Nazara’s total expenses surged by 85.3% to Rs 528 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 285 crore in the same quarter last year. Content and commission costs together stood at Rs 186 crore, while employee benefit expenses rose to Rs 80 crore. Notably, marketing expenses saw a sharp 3.5X jump, reaching Rs 151 crore in Q4 FY25. Despite a 95% year-on-year revenue growth in Q4, the company’s profit remained flat at Rs 4 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full fiscal year, its net profit declined to Rs 51 crore in FY25 from Rs 74.7 crore in FY24. Last week, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) also approved the acquisition of a majority stake and control over Nazara Technologies Limited by Axana Estates LLP, Plutus Wealth Management LLP, and Junomoneta Finsol Private Limited. Nazara is currently trading at Rs 1,270 (as of 03.41 PM) with a total market capitalization of Rs 11,127 crore (approximately $1.3 billion).

The sale of its products through offline stores and websites in India and the international market was the primary source of revenue, accounting for nearly 82% of total operating revenue, while its subsidiary, GlobalBees, contributed Rs 422 crore. The company also made Rs 44 crore from interest income which took its overall revenue to Rs 2,217 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to Rs 1,936 crore in Q3 FY24. For the omnichannel retailer, the cost of procurement of materials accounted for 66% of the overall expenditure which increased 17% year-on-year to Rs 1,451 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 1,239 crore in Q3 FY24. FirstCry’s employee benefits stood at Rs 177 crore in Q3 FY25 which includes Rs 28 crore as ESOP cost. The marketing, legal, rent, and technology were other overheads that pushed the overall expenditure to Rs 2,210 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 1,978 crore in Q3 FY24. The decent scale and controlled expenditure helped FirstCry to reduce its losses by 70% to Rs 15 crore in the last quarter. Notably, the company reported a positive EBITDA of Rs 152 crore. As of the last trading session, FirstCry’s share price stood at Rs 419 per share, with a total market capitalization of Rs 21,753.8 crore (approximately $2.5 billion).

On a half yearly basis, Nykaa’s operating revenue increased 24% to Rs 4,501 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 3,621 crore in H1 FY25. The beauty segment accounted for 91% of the total revenue at Rs 2,132 crore, while the fashion segment contributed 8.7% of the operating income in the Q2 FY25. For Nykaa, the cost of materials constituted 56% of its total expenditure, rising to Rs 1,292 crore in Q2 FY26. Additional spending on employee benefits, finance, marketing, technology, and other overheads brought the company’s total costs to Rs 2,297 crore during the quarter. Steady growth in its scale helped Nykaa achieve 2.5X increase in profit to Rs 33 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to Rs 13 crore in Q2 FY25. For the six months ended September 2025, the company’s profit doubled to Rs 57 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 27 crore in H1 FY25. At the close of today's trading session, Nykaa's stock was priced at Rs 246, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 70,375 crore ($8 billion).
