Online travel aggregator (OTA) platform EaseMyTrip announced its financial results on Friday for the third quarter of FY25. The results show a marginal decrease in scale and profit year-on-year. EaseMyTrip’s operating revenue decreased by 6.3% to Rs 150 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 160 crore in Q3 FY24, as per its unaudited consolidated financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Revenue from air ticketing accounted for 65% of the revenue whereas hotel packages formed 22% of the total collection. To the tune of scale, its total expense increased by 2.4% to Rs 107 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 105 crore in Q4 FY24. Service cost, payment gateway, employee benefit and costs were other major overheads for EaseMyTrip during the last quarter.

Hotel packages accounted for 31% of total revenue, generating Rs 46 crore. Including other undisclosed income, its total income for Q3 FY26 stood at Rs 161 crore, compared to Rs 154 crore in Q3 FY25. For the nine-month period, the company’s revenue decreased by 11.5% to Rs 407 crore from Rs 460 crore, a year earlier. EaseMyTrip’s total expenses rose 42% to Rs 153 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 107.5 crore in Q3 FY25. Employee benefit accounted for 22% of the total, increasing 27% to Rs 33 crore in Q3 FY26. Payment gateway charges, Service costs, and advertising were other major costs for EaseMyTrip in the last quarter. With the dip in revenue and expense increasing, the company’s profit fell by 90% to Rs 3.4 crore in Q3 FY26 as compared to Rs 34 crore in Q3 FY25. On a unit basis, the Delhi-based company spent Rs 1.01 to earn a rupee of operating revenue during the last quarter. EaseMyTrip’s share price was trading at Rs 6.64 on Friday, giving it a total market capitalization of Rs 2,415 crore (about $267 million).

This revenue source increased by 32.5% to Rs 102.4 crore in Q3 FY25. However, income from the sale of its devices generated Rs 12 crore of revenue. The cost of IoT devices, employee benefits, and technical services (outsourced) were the major cost elements, which pushed the total cost of the firm to Rs 79.4 crore in Q3 FY25 against Rs 60.5 crore in Q3 FY24. With the increase in scale, MapMyIndia recorded a 4.2% increase in its profit to Rs 32.3 crore during Q3 FY25 as compared to Rs 31 crore in the third quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q3 FY24). MapMyIndia is currently trading at Rs 1609 per share with a market capitalization of Rs 8,753 crore ($1 billion). Last month, MapMyIndia announced that its CEO and whole-time director, Rohan Verma, will step down from his executive role effective March 31, 2025. Chairman and Managing Director Rakesh Kumar Verma will continue to provide leadership at MapMyIndia.

The strong growth and controlled spending enabled CarTrade to achieve a turnaround and post a net profit of Rs 45.5 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 23.5 crore in Q3 FY24. However, the company had already recorded a revenue of Rs 472 crore and a net profit of Rs 99 crore during the nine months of the ongoing fiscal year. According to Paytm’s unaudited consolidated quarterly report filed with the National Stock Exchange, its revenue from operations declined by 35.9% year-on-year from Rs 2,850 crore in Q3 FY24 to Rs 1,828 crore in Q3 FY25. However, on a quarter-on-quarter basis, the firm recorded a 10% increase in revenue compared to Q2 FY25 (the preceding quarter). Income from payment service revenue accounted for 55% of the total operating revenue which stood at Rs 1,003 crore in Q3 FY25 while the revenue from financial and marketing services were recorded at Rs 502 crore and Rs 267 crore in the same period. The company also added Rs 189 crore from other non-operating sources, bringing its overall revenue to Rs 2016.5 crore in Q3 FY25. For the fintech firm, its employee benefits remained the largest cost center accounting for 34% of the overall cost which decreased by 36% to Rs 756 crore in Q3 FY25. This includes Rs 182 crore as ESOP cost (non-cash). Its payment processing charges and marketing costs were reduced by 42% and 48.7% to Rs 570 crore and Rs 141 crore respectively in Q3 FY25 from Rs 982 crore and Rs 275 crore in Q3 FY24. Software, communication, legal, cashback, and other overheads took the total expenditure to Rs 2,220 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 3,216 crore in Q3 FY24. A reduction across all overhead departments enabled Paytm to narrow its losses by 6.3% to Rs 208 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 222 crore in Q3 FY24.

Honasa’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 602 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 518 crore in Q3 FY25, its financial statements accessed from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) show. For the nine-month period, Honasa’s operating revenue increased 13.2% to Rs 1735 crore from Rs 1533 crore, a year earlier. The Gurugram-based company has not disclosed its revenue breakdown for the last quarter. It also added Rs 21 crore from non-operating activities which tallied its overall revenue to Rs 622 crore in Q3 FY26. For the D2C brand, the cost of procurement of products accounted for 34% of the overall expenditure. This cost increased by 19.6% to Rs 189 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 158 crore in Q3 FY25. Meanwhile, employee benefit expenses rose 18% to Rs 71 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 60 crore in Q3 FY25. Marketing, legal, rent, and other overheads led the total expenditure increased by 8.5% to Rs 550 crore in Q3 FY26 as compared to Rs 507 crore in Q3 FY25. In the end, the company’s profit after tax nearly doubled to Rs 50 crore in Q3 FY26, from Rs 26 crore in Q3 FY25. On a sequential basis, the company’s profit increased 28% from Rs 39 crore in Q2 FY25. During the period, the company entered the men's grooming market by acquiring a 95% stake in South India-focused Reginald Men (owned by BTM Ventures Pvt Ltd) for Rs 195 crore via a secondary transaction. Honasa’s co-founder and promoter Varun Alagh also increased his equity stake in the company to 32.45% through a Rs 50 Cr block deal during the quarter. At the end of today’s trading session, MamaEarth parent’s shares were trading at Rs 298 with a total market capitalization of Rs 9,725 crore ($1.1 billion).

At the end of the day, PolicyBazaar traded at Rs 1,545 with a total market capitalization of Rs 71,483 crore (approximately $7.8 billion).
