The Mumbai-based NBFC provides education loans to students pursuing higher studies in India and abroad. Its offerings cover the complete cost of education, including tuition fees, pre-visa expenses, travel, and other related costs. Interest income formed the bulk of its business, contributing 90.5% of total operating revenue, which grew 49.4% to Rs 478 crore in FY25. Fees, commissions, and other operating income collectively stood at Rs 50 crore during the year. Including other income of Rs 16 crore, Auxilo’s total revenue reached Rs 544 crore in FY25. On the expenditure side, interest costs accounted for 71.5% of total expenses, rising in line with disbursements to Rs 282 crore in FY25. Employee benefits were recorded at Rs 56 crore, while overall costs increased to Rs 394 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 275 crore in FY24. The company’s controlled cost structure supported profitability, leading to a 62.3% jump in PAT to Rs 112 crore in FY25, against Rs 69 crore in FY24. Auxilo’s expense-to-revenue ratio also improved to 0.75 in FY25. Earlier this year, Auxilo raised Rs 50 crore from Motilal Oswal. Since its inception, it has secured over $100 million across equity and debt. The company competes with other well-funded education-financing players such as Grayquest, Avanse Financial, Financepeer, Propelld, Leap Finance, and Eduvanz.

The Auxilo’s board has issued 22,500 non-convertible debentures (NCDs) at a face value of Rs 1,00,000 each to raise the above-mentioned sum, according to its filing with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Neo Group led the debt round with a Rs 100 crore ($11.36 million) investment, while Nuvama Wealth and Dezerv contributed Rs 50 crore each, and The South Indian Bank added Rs 25 crore. The debentures carry an interest rate of 9.7% per annum with a three-year tenure, while those issued to The South Indian Bank come at a 10% annual interest rate. Founded in 2016, Auxilo provides education loans to students for higher studies in India and abroad and to educational institutes for infrastructure modernization. Its educational loans include all the expenses related to the course, including classroom expenditures, pre-visa approvals, and airfares. For the fiscal year ended March 2025, Auxilo’s operating revenue rose nearly 50% to Rs 528 crore from Rs 357 crore in FY24. During the same period, the company’s profit surged 62% to Rs 112 crore.

Nazara also earned Rs 18 crore from interest and gains on financial assets during the quarter, bringing its overall revenue to Rs 539 crore. However, the company posted a 40.8% YoY increase in its total income to Rs 1,715 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 1,218 crore in FY24. On the line of scale, Nazara’s total expenses surged by 85.3% to Rs 528 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 285 crore in the same quarter last year. Content and commission costs together stood at Rs 186 crore, while employee benefit expenses rose to Rs 80 crore. Notably, marketing expenses saw a sharp 3.5X jump, reaching Rs 151 crore in Q4 FY25. Despite a 95% year-on-year revenue growth in Q4, the company’s profit remained flat at Rs 4 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full fiscal year, its net profit declined to Rs 51 crore in FY25 from Rs 74.7 crore in FY24. Last week, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) also approved the acquisition of a majority stake and control over Nazara Technologies Limited by Axana Estates LLP, Plutus Wealth Management LLP, and Junomoneta Finsol Private Limited. Nazara is currently trading at Rs 1,270 (as of 03.41 PM) with a total market capitalization of Rs 11,127 crore (approximately $1.3 billion).

For Delhivery, freight handling and servicing costs made up 70% of its total expenditure, rising by 3% to Rs 1,566 crore in Q4 FY25. Employee benefit expenses decreased by 6% to Rs 337 crore. Legal, depreciation, and other overhead costs contributed to a minor decrease in overall expenditure, which reached Rs 2,249 crore during the quarter. For the full financial year ending March 2025, the firm’s total expenses rose to Rs 9,217 crore as against Rs 8,825 crore in FY24. Delhivery's continued growth and controlled expenditure resulted in a profit of Rs 72 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 68 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, it turned profitable and reported a net profit of Rs 162 crore in FY25 as compared to a loss of Rs 249 crore in FY24. Despite the jump in ad spend, Gameskraft managed to sustain profitability on the back of its strong topline and controlled costs in other areas. Its net profit stood at Rs 976 crore in FY25, slightly higher than the Rs 947 crore posted in FY24. It's worth noting that we have excluded exceptional items worth Rs 270.5 crore in the calculation of net profit of the company. Gameskraft's ROCE and EBITDA margin stood at 58.40% and 31.63%, respectively. On a unit basis, Gameskraft spent Rs 0.71 to earn a rupee of operating revenue in FY25. The company recorded current assets worth Rs 2,232 crore in FY25 which includes Rs 253 crore in cash and bank balances and Rs 1,319 crore invested in mutual funds. While Gameskraft’s FY25 numbers were unaffected, the Indian government’s new gaming law effective August 2025 has forced the company to halt its real-money operations, including shutting down “Add Cash” features and discontinuing its flagship rummy platform RummyCulture, alongside pausing its poker venture Pocket52 earlier in the year. The move, mandated by the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, has also led Gameskraft to publicly state it will not pursue a legal challenge, instead opting for full compliance. Given that real-money gaming contributed nearly all of Gameskraft’s FY25 revenue, the ban is expected to significantly impact its business model, revenue streams, and growth trajectory going forward.

Income from the booking of hotels and packages accounted for 80% of TBO’s revenue, which increased to Rs 357 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, income from air ticketing and other allied services brought Rs 79 crore and Rs 10 crore to the firm’s coffers. Hotels and packages, as the top revenue source, made service fees the largest cost center, accounting for 33.75% of total expenditure or Rs 135 crore in Q4 FY25. Employee benefits were Rs 99 crore in the same quarter. Overall, total costs rose to Rs 400 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 325 crore in Q4 FY24. The decent surge in scale and controlled expenditure led TBO to post a 28.3% YOY increase in its profits after tax to Rs 59 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 46 crore in Q4 FY24. However, for the full fiscal year, it posted a 15% YoY increase in PAT to Rs 230 crore in the previous fiscal (FY25). Flight and bus booking services contributed 27% and 19.3% to the company’s coffers, respectively. The firm’s operating expenses rose in Q2 FY25, reflecting increased investments in growth. Employee expenses and marketing costs contributed to this spike, which was necessary to support the company’s expansion in user acquisition and market penetration. Despite the rise in costs, EBITDA saw a sharp increase of 655%, reaching Rs 22.4 crore in Q2 FY25, compared to Rs 2.96 crore in Q2 FY24. Adjusted EBITDA also jumped 326% to Rs 20.99 crore in Q2 FY25. Ixigo profit after tax (PAT) declined by 51%, from Rs 26.70 crore in Q2 FY24 to Rs 13.08 crore in Q2 FY25. This decline was primarily due to a deferred tax charge of Rs 5.26 crore in Q2 FY25.

In FY25, Arya.ag managed agricultural commodities valued at Rs 26,961 crore across its warehouses, representing a total volume of 7.37 million metric tonnes (MMT). The company also claims to have disbursed Rs 14,182 crore worth of agricultural inputs stored in these warehouses directly to customers from its own balance sheet. The firm disbursed Rs 2,000 crore in loans backed by stored crops, providing farmers with a platform for storage, credit, and selling their produce. For context, Arya.ag’s interest income from financing stood at Rs 55.4 crore in FY24. Arya.ag also expanded its strategic partnerships: with banks for co-lending, processors for value-added commerce, and climate-focused organisations. Looking ahead to FY26, the company aims to expand its geographic footprint and deepen tech capabilities. Employee benefits expenses decreased by 35% year-on-year to Rs 31 crore in FY25, while finance costs dropped 41% to Rs 19 crore in FY25. Cost of material, however, rose 33% to Rs 8 crore in FY25. Depreciation on the company’s furniture rose 29% to Rs 45 crore in FY25 from Rs 35 crore in FY24. With strong revenue growth and lower burn, Furlenco turned profitable and posted a profit of Rs 3 crore in FY25, in contrast to a loss of Rs 130 crore in FY24. Its ROCE and EBITDA margin improved significantly to 5.68% and 24.45%, respectively. On a per-unit basis, the firm spent Rs 1.03 to earn every rupee of operating revenue, compared to Rs 2.03 in FY24. Furlenco’s current assets stood at Rs 106 crore, including cash and bank balances of Rs 32 crore in FY25. According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Furlenco has raised a total of $298 m in funding till date, with Sheela Foam and Lightbox Ventures as its lead investors. The company’s founder and chief executive, Ajith Mohan Karimpana owns 12% of the company. Furlenco certainly seems to have discovered a better playbook for its business, because numbers like these looked unlikely till last year. While the concept has certainly found takers, operating costs had been too high to offer hope of such a turnaround. So credit to the team for having pulled it off.

However, its employee benefit expenses declined sharply by 33% to Rs 40 crore in FY25 from Rs 60 crore in FY24. Depreciation, finance costs, and professional fees collectively added another Rs 32.5 crore while other expenses, covering logistics, store operations, and miscellaneous overheads, rose 14.5% to Rs 169.5 crore. Overall, Ripple’s total expenses increased 12% to Rs 1,260 crore in FY25. Ripplr posted a loss of Rs 91 crore in FY25, almost identical to Rs 90 crore it lost in FY24. The firm’s ROCE and EBITDA margin improved slightly to -30% and -5.88% respectively. On a unit level, Ripplr spent Rs 1.08 to earn a rupee of operating revenue in FY25, compared to Rs 1.10 in the previous fiscal. The Bengaluru-based firm recorded cash and bank balances of Rs 63 crore, while current assets rose to Rs 381 crore in FY25. Ripplr is reportedly in discussions to raise Rs 400 crore from SBI and existing investors. Before this, the company raised over $45 million. Myntra also earned Rs 157.5 crore from other income sources. The firm made Rs 94.3 crore from non-operating revenue, primarily from royalty income, which pushed its total revenue to Rs 6,042.7 crore in FY25. Advertising costs, the company’s largest expense surged 37% to Rs 2,105.3 crore in the last fiscal year, whereas burn on logistics rose 6.45% to Rs 1,999 crore. In contrast, employee benefit expenses fell 6.4% to Rs 748.8 crore. Other overheads, including finance costs, payment gateway fees, and (IT) expenses, added Rs 870.6 crore during the fiscal year. In the end, Myntra’s overall expenses grew by 11.7% to Rs 5,723.7 crore in FY25, as compared to Rs 5,123 crore in previous fiscal. Myntra’s controlled spending and sustained growth across revenue streams boosted its profit nearly 18X to Rs 548.3 crore in FY25. This follows a profit of Rs 31 crore in FY24, marking a sharp turnaround from a loss of Rs 782 crore in FY23. Its ROCE and EBITDA margin improved to 24.71% and 8.78%, respectively. On a unit basis, the company spent Rs 0.95 to earn a rupee during the fiscal year. The Bengaluru-based firm recorded cash and bank balances of Rs 22.8 crore while its current assets were worth Rs 4,762.4 crore in FY25.
