Benny’s Bowl raises $1.4 Mn in pre-Series A led by Atomic Capital Benny’s Bowl has raised $1.4 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Atomic Capital. The proceeds will be used to strengthen product research and development, launch new product lines, and expand the brand’s presence across online and offline channels. Founded by Akshay Gupta, Benny’s Bowl operates in the pet nutrition segment with a focus on functional and everyday pet food products. Benny’s Bowl recently introduced functional nutrition products targeting gut health, allergies, renal health, skin and coat care, and weight management. The startup claims to have reported 2x revenue growth over the last 12 months, with 85% of its revenue coming from repeat customers. Benny’s Bowl is aiming to reach Rs 100 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by FY27. The brand sells its products through digital platforms and is expanding its offline retail presence as part of its growth strategy. In addition to product expansion, Benny’s Bowl plans to invest in consumer education initiatives focused on pet nutrition and balanced diets.

Thimblerr raises $1.4 Mn led by Inflection Point Ventures The company is building a network of cloud factories supported by a more than 800 machine ecosystem and production systems powered by data. Thimblerr has raised $1.4 million in a bridge round led by Inflection Point Ventures with participation from 3one4 Capital, Mount Judi Ventures, Venture Catalysts, and We Founder Circle. The Bengaluru-based full stack fashion supply-chain platform will use the proceeds for customer acquisition, expanding into new categories, and strengthening its supply-chain capabilities. Founded in 2022 by IIT alumni Piyush Jalan and Rishav Papneja, Thimblerr provides tech-enabled manufacturing and design support to fashion brands, helping them move from concept to production with shorter lead times. The company claims to cut the traditional 180-day cycle to 30–60 days and supports the creation of over 3,000 designs a month. It works with more than a dozen clients including Tata Trent, USPA, Snitch, and The Souled Store. Thimblerr aims to position itself as an infrastructure layer for India’s fast fashion manufacturing industry, which is valued at around $5 billion and growing 25–30% annually. Co-founder Jalan said the company wants to bring speed, transparency, and reliability to India’s fast fashion supply chain and connect global brands with trusted manufacturers. IPV has invested over Rs 800 crore across 250 startups so far. It has launched a $50 million CAT 2 VC fund, Physis Capital, to invest in Pre-Series A to Series B growth-stage start-ups. The fund has already deployed capital in six startups so far, with a few deals in advanced stages of the pipeline.

Cumin Co. raises $5 Mn pre-Series A round led by Fireside Ventures Gurugram-based kitchenware startup Cumin Co. has raised $5 million (around Rs 41 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures. Existing investors Huddle Ventures and Alteria Capital also participated, along with several angel investors. Earlier in August last year, Cumin Co. had raised its first institutional funding of $1.5 million (about Rs 13.16 crore) led by Fireside Ventures along with participation from Huddle Ventures. The proceeds will be used to expand the product portfolio across cookware and kitchen essentials. It also plans to strengthen its supply chain, increase investments in R&D, and improve manufacturing and product innovation capabilities. Founded by Niharika Joshi and Udit Lekhi, Cumin Co. operates in the premium kitchenware segment and focuses on research-led product development. The brand sells cookware and kitchen essentials directly to consumers through online channels. Cumin Co. builds its products around proprietary material and coating technology under its Enviromax platform. It holds three granted patents and has five more pending, covering material science, surface coatings, and product design. Going ahead, Cumin Co. will continue to focus on controlled expansion, selective channel rollout, and improving unit economics as it scales its operations. It competes with other notable startups in this space such as Indus Valley and Palette Brand’s Ember. Indus Valley secured Rs 23.1 crore in a pre-Series A round led by DSG Ventures, while Palette Brands raised nearly Rs 17 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Rockstud Capital.
