This investment follows the $500,000 seed funding round led by AROA Ventures in 2022. The proceeds will be used to create 100,000 healthcare jobs in India and 3,000 jobs abroad within the next 18 months and aims to complete 10 million job hours over time. Co-founded by Naveen Trehan and Avishek Agarwal, Jobizo is an AI-powered platform that connects employers with skilled professionals. The platform has contributed to over 10 million additional patient care hours in India. By using its expanding investor network and market expertise, Jobizo aims to create a welcoming environment for the workforce and tackle skill gap issues. Post seed round, Jobizo's growth claims to have grown over 500%, facilitated over 20,000 jobs in India and international countries, and helped fill over 10 million job hours.

Farmley raises $40 Mn in Series C round led by L Catterton Farmley, a Noida-based healthy snacking brand, has raised $40 million in its Series C funding round led by global consumer-focused investment firm L Catterton, with participation from existing investor DSG Consumer Partners. The proceeds will be used for capital expenditure, expanding distribution channels across India, enhancing exports, and investing in product formulations and technologies, Farmley said in a press release. According to an ET report, the funding includes 30% secondary sales by early-stage investors, including Insitor and Samunnati, along with employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). Founded in 2017 by Akash Sharma and Abhishek Agarwal, Farmley offers snacks such as makhana-based munchies, date bites, seeds, trail mixes, and roasted nuts. The firm sources directly from over 5,000 farmers across multiple regions and operates five processing units. According to TheKredible, Farmley recorded a revenue of Rs 230.66 crore in FY24 while posting a net loss of Rs 26.5 crore. While the company has yet to file its audited financial report for FY25, it claims to have clocked Rs 370 crore in revenue for the last fiscal year. Since its inception, Farmley has raised around $55 million, which includes a $2 million seed round in 2020 from Omnivore and Insitor, a $6 million Series A round in August 2022 led by DSG Consumer Partners and Alkemi Growth Capital, and a $6.7 million pre-Series B round in December 2023 led by the BC Jindal Group. Farmley is currently piloting its products in international markets, including the United States, Australia, Canada, and Singapore, as part of its global expansion strategy. It competes with other healthy snacking brands such as Happilo, which raised $25 million from Motilal Oswal Private Equity in 2022, and True Elements, in which Marico acquired a 53.98% stake in the same year.

Omnichannel diagnostics service provider Redcliffe Labs has raised $42 million in a Series C funding round led by Denmark-based investment firm IFU, which contributed $20 million. Existing investor LeapFrog added $15 million, while the remaining capital came from shareholders HealthQuad and Spark Growth Ventures. This new funding follows the Noida-based company’s previous rounds, including $61 million in its Series B in May 2022 and $10 million in Series A in April 2021. Other notable investors include Schroders, LC Nueva, Chiratae Ventures, and Alkemi Venture Partners. The fresh capital will fuel Redcliffe’s expansion plans, particularly in deepening its presence in tier II and III cities across India. The company plans to open more labs and collection centers and expand its home collection network, according to a press release. Redcliffe has executed strategic acquisitions in North-Western India and continues to pursue PAN-India expansion through partnerships and further acquisitions. In addition to its financial growth, Redcliffe has strengthened its leadership. Ankur Shah, former chief finance and strategy officer of Careem (acquired by Uber), has joined as an independent director. Alka Saxena, formerly of Health Care at Home and Dr. Lal PathLabs, has been appointed as CFO. Currently, Redcliffe Labs’ services are available in more than 220 cities across India through a network of 80 labs, over 2,000 collection centers, and home collection services. The company claims to have served more than 7 million patients across tier I, II, and III cities. Redcliffe Labs’ operating revenue surged 2.6 times to Rs 347 crore in FY23, up from Rs 130 crore in FY22. However, the company’s losses jumped fivefold to Rs 345.6 crore from Rs 67.7 crore over the same period. It competes with notable players such as PharmEasy-owned Thyrocare, Healthians, 1mg, and Dr. Lal PathLabs.
