Multiply that by ChatGPT scale and every creator who relies on authenticity,restaurant reviewers, skincare testers, ed-tech teachers,loses pricing power overnight. My take: if you monetise trust, you have six months to harden your supply chain. Start watermarking raw footage, publish b-roll, sign clips with hardware wallets. The platforms won’t save you; they make more ad money when the fakes fly. Indian founders should be building verification rails, not another AI video editor. There’s a ₹100-crore gap for a “proof-of-real” layer that plugs into Shopify and Meesho checkouts. What I can’t figure out: will the typical Indian consumer even care?
