The Government recently approved Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 with a ₹10,000-crore corpus to mobilize venture capital for innovative companies. At the same time, initiatives like India Semiconductor Mission 2.0 aim to build long-term technological capacity in areas such as electronics manufacturing and semiconductor supply chains. This suggests a broader transition. The next generation of startups in India may not be defined by how quickly they scale—but by the capabilities they build.
