I've been thinking about a problem in remote hiring and wanted to share a simple solution. The Mirror Method - A Solution to Interview Cheating Problem: Candidates use hidden AI tools during remote interviews. Interviewers can't tell if skills are real or AI-assisted. The solution: Place a mirror behind the candidate showing their screen. How it works: During video interview, interviewer sees the screen reflection in the background. If AI tools are open, they're visible (even if blurry). Why it helps: - Stops most cheaters (they won't risk it) - Honest candidates can prove their skills - Completely voluntary - Zero cost, no software Not perfect. Won't catch everything. But it's one simple layer that actually works. Open to thoughts and feedback from the community.
