When Flying Home Costs More Than Your Monthly Rent. → My friend came to Bangalore for the first time. His Indigo return flight got cancelled today even though he booked it a month ago. He tried booking a new flight from Bangalore to Ahmedabad for upcomig days. ↳ Economy fare? ₹26,900+ ↳ Business class? Only ₹21,100 Yes Economy is MORE EXPENSIVE than business. IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) just cancelled 1,000+ flights and tickets from Delhi to Patna are literally Rs 50,000 for a 2 hour flight. Air India is doing dynamic pricing so crazy that Delhi-Pune economy is Rs 31,000 while business is 62,000 (okay that one makes sense at least lol). Someone who earns 50,000 a month suddenly needs 28,000 to visit their sick parent? It's not about demand anymore. It's about desperation. Is it happening with you too or with your friends? Let me know your story too in comments. Now we don’t have any option except waiting for the price to drop. #indigo #airindia #airlines
