The Indian government has unveiled a highly ambitious plan: introducing AI education in schools right from Class 3 (ages 8-10). The goal is to prepare an entire population for a world where AI is not a tool, but the environment itself. However, the execution risk is extremely high. Skilled Teachers is the single biggest bottleneck. Finding and training educators who can teach AI concepts effectively to young children, at a national scale, is a monumental challenge. ( Yk the current situation of teachers and Think what would be the situation when such things are included in curriculum) Infrastructure & Equity: Meaningful AI education requires computers and connectivity while resource poor public schools risk falling further behind. In summary, the vision is undeniably correct and necessary. But without a parallel, massive investment in teacher training and bridging the infrastructure gap, this progressive policy could inadvertently create a new wave of inequality.
