A fundamental product principle I’ve observed is that a lot of products tap into a human motivation that has nothing to do with the product and then retain the user by leveraging motivation more aligned to product offerings For example ⬇️ Super.money acquired users by offering alluring cashbacks (motivation = money, not aligned to product) and a majority of users stayed because of the UI/UX (desire for convenience, much more aligned to product offering)
