I mean when it comes to social media there is clearly an early movers advantage. So lets say you create a segment of instant messaging and it works for whatsapp because hey messages were expensive so why not. Think of it lile how banglore having the worst roads of many major city still has so many tech companies. Its just so hard to switch out. Forget companies leaving but there is a 50 percent chance that someone starting a new company will start it in bengaluru. So there you go. You moght argue that telegram also made its way well that is because they had a crazy feature of sharing files as large as you want. So yeah you want a social media from india you need to have something different something better. You just can’t be like hey you are india and i am indian. Stop replicating and start building new things.
