first thing first elon musk isn't going to Mars Just for global warming or pollution. are you sure enough no tsunami no earthquake no asteroid will cause any harms to humans for elon musk this is the reason why going to Mars. second the other reason for all our the world is to explore the space and other planets to have more resources and grew the humanity. asking humans to stay on earth and clean planet. is same as asking a genius to not use their brain and do only what told you to do. and there are people working to clean the earth but there are majority of people on earth won't care about pollution if they where smart enough to use or seperate waste and recycle it properly there won't even be any issue for pollution when they cleanup there own mess.
