Just do some quick unit economics and you'll understand why they do this. Also if you don't want to do all that, do you know why all the grocery stores also have a minimum order amount for home delivery? Ever saw them deliver a ₹10 chips (unless the store is in the same building or you know the shopkeeper very very well)?. They hardly make 10-30% on the order value and their costs are Delivery Fees, Warehousing Fees, App Development, Marketing, this that! and you expect them to deliver a ₹30 order at no extra cost.
