Hi all i am currently 19, 2 months back i pitched a n idea to a ultra HNI, he is founder of a very big edtech company he liked it , we are building it , i have been on it since day 0 i pitched him this idea with UI/UX ...like mai figma bna ke laya tha proper.... we are expecting 60 cr in 1st year and ultimate goal is 200-250 crore of ARR in next 3 yrs ... do i deserve some equity in that project...

Bro you're slow in business, If idea and vision is yours, you should give 50% equity to him not beg some equity from him.

Bro, if you are true , then i am telling even scholars and IIT can't reach 60 cr in thier lives. Being 19 does not mean that you shouldn't have stake .

bro its ur idea ,ur vision ,ur pitch ,ur business, then ultimately it should be your STAKE , The maximum portion should be on your side no matter the investors ,its ultimately your company . SO YES TAKE GOOD STAKE ,and good luck

Yes you deserve some equity if you are doing it full time. I would say try to get 25%. if not possible then atleast 15 to 20%. Also do you have very good technical knowledge?

Common man your the one to come up with the idea and you have all rights to have an equity . This shouldn't be a question at all . Please understand the Finance part of startup . The question is did you sign to any policies by the investor without knowing ?
