Day 11 of my 30-day Business & Entrepreneurship series Here’s a sobering stat: 90–95% of new products flop. And the #1 reason? They never proved a real user need. That’s why today’s edition is all about User Testing & Feedback Loops 🔄 — your secret weapons to make sure you’re building what people actually want. User Testing: Watch real people interact with your product (or even a sketch!) to spot friction points early. Feedback Loops: Collect → analyze → act → re-test. A cycle that keeps your product evolving with user needs. Testing Methods: – Formative (early stage, find problems fast). – Summative (later stage, measure success & benchmarks). Qualitative vs. Quantitative: Stories vs. stats. Both matter. Bias Watch: Don’t fall for polite compliments (“I’d totally use this!”). Probe deeper with honest, non-leading questions. When to Test: From idea → prototype → beta → live product. Testing is continuous, not one-off. Real-World Wins: Dropbox (70,000 sign-ups from a video), Intuit’s “Follow-Me-Home” research, Revolut’s fast feedback-driven features. 👉 The big takeaway? Listen early, listen often, and let your users guide your evolution. Products built on real insights are the ones that thrive.
