Helping founders fix... • 11d
Sharing a real life experience - In these years of being on the management side of things, I have observed one truth: Protect your team, not their excuses. I have seen managers who throw their people under the bus at the first sign of trouble. The result is a culture of fear, silence, and hidden mistakes. I have also seen managers who always cover for their team no matter what. The result is a team that feels safe, but never really grows. The best leaders I have worked with found the balance. They protected their people when it mattered most, shielding them in front of clients or leadership. But later, behind closed doors, they asked the hard questions. No excuses. No easy passes. I have emulated this trait over the years. That is where real growth happens. Especially in a startup. #TheStartupManager
