Haryana has included honey under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana (BBY) to provide price support similar to horticulture crops. A ₹20 crore quality control lab will be set up at the Integrated Beekeeping Development Centre (IBDC), Ramnagar, which will be upgraded to a national-level apiculture hub in collaboration with Israel. Under Beekeeping Policy-2021, Haryana aims to train 7,750 beekeepers and produce 15,500 MT honey by 2030. More than 74,000 bee boxes and 3.43 lakh comb sheets have already been distributed with subsidies of up to 85% on equipment. Youth and women are being encouraged to launch honey-based startup initiatives for rural livelihood opportunities. The state has approved a ₹169.6 crore cluster development scheme for MSMEs, with an additional ₹20 crore subsidy. 11 MSME clusters will be created with shared infrastructure like testing centers, training institutes, and R&D facilities. 46 projects worth ₹158 crore and 33 plug-and-play projects worth ₹359 crore have been sanctioned under the cluster program, with ₹75.98 crore in grants. A dedicated MSME directorate has been established to support growth. Plans are in place for uninterrupted power supply to MSME clusters to reduce production losses. Haryana’s Vision 2047 targets becoming a $1 trillion economy and creating 50 lakh jobs by 2047. A Department of Future has been set up to focus on AI, quantum computing, and robotics. Launch of the Haryana AI Mission to boost innovation and startups. A ₹2,000 crore Fund of Funds is planned to support entrepreneurship and innovation. Integrated skill hubs will be created to keep workforce training relevant to modern industry. A Jan Vishwas Bill is being drafted to decriminalize 230 outdated laws across 37 departments for ease of doing business.
