The Andhra Pradesh government is reintroducing the NTR Baby Kit scheme to support the health of newborns and mothers in government hospitals. Originally launched in 2016 by the TDP government, the scheme was later discontinued. It is now being revived to encourage institutional deliveries. Each kit worth ₹1,410 contains 11 essential items including baby clothes, bed, soap, oil, and hygiene products.
