They do charge some extra fees. you can click on that "item total and gst" button to know more about that. Also when you apply the free cash, they deduct ₹75 as delivery fees so yoy basically just get a ₹75 discount which is not a lot. Also when you apply any discounts, they deduct the price from that item list itself. So for eg the toor dal costs ₹900, and you apply that discount code of say ₹50 (or free cash), they'll show ₹850 as it's price in the cart list. Zepto is just filled with dark patterns huh

If you have to discount to close the deal, you’ve already lost. Price isn’t the problem. Perceived value is. People pay full price for things they truly want. Instead of lowering the price, raise the worth. Fix the offer, not the tag."
