I am Working on an App/Platform dedicated for NGO's called “GyanSetu” . It’s something like Slack but more specific. I worked in a NGO for Social Internship and also I was part of NSS unit of my university where i was a sub-executive. The problem i faced was that the communication medium was messed up and distributed between whatsapp, telegram and normal SMS messages. 15+ different groups to manage and most of the time information got missed and it felt frustrating. If we collaborated with some external Organisation then again new groups were formed and everyone had to join it. My app takes a slack like approach to address this issue : 1) An Organisation can be created and volunteers can join. 2) Organisation will have subtopics which will have Read/Write Privileges for selected users by admin. so only volunteers related to that topic can access it. 3) To or more organisations can create a joined organisation which will be separate from the core organisation and volunteers can be selected from both ngos. This will also have subtopics. This can be used for joined works and later disbanded when work is done. How is the idea? I have almost completed 20% of the app and i am using Kotlin Multiplatform for the cross platform app. Using Ktor framework for the backend with MongoDB as database.

I see I can't add experience until the organisation is in the drop-down. The company I worked isn't there. How can I do it? 🥲
